Multi-award winning director Sara Johnsen helms an all-female cast of rising and established Norwegian stars for this entertaining exploration of love, sex and what it means to be family.

In the middle of her wedding reception, bride Unn Tove (Tuva Novotny, The King’s Choice Scandi FF 2017, Nobel) finds a newborn baby abandoned in the hotel bathroom and unsure of what to do, turns her over to Child Services. Sixteen years later, a young and energetic girl shows up at her doorstep. It’s Rosemari (Ruby Dagnall, Skam), the baby from the wedding; she wants Unn Tove’s help to find her parents. Unn Tove, who is now a famous journalist on a popular television show sees an opportunity for a story and agrees to help Rosemari. Setting out on the road, together they unravel a story about a young couple’s unrestrained love, an eccentric ex-boxer, and a mother covering up her life’s biggest secret. A touching and upbeat story about what makes us who we are.

Engaging and fun.
